Attendee Questions
Can I re-enter the market if I leave?
If you'd like to come back in, we recommend joining the walk-in queue at the last entry time slot. Re-entry is only permitted after all ticket holders have entered.
I couldn't get a ticket - can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome depending on each event capactiy, and will update the situation via a social media. Please do expect a small wait time. Registered ticket holders are always prioritised for entry.
Do I need a ticket to attend?
Yes, all Mellow Art events require registration - whether the event is free or ticketed. Once registered, please arrive and line up at the time shown on your ticket, as this is whe entry begins.
Will I be photographed or filmed at the event?
Our media team is present at all Mellow Art events, and signage will be displayed throughout the venue to notify visitors. If you'd prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please let a member of our team know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Can I get a refund?
Refund requests are available up to 7 days prior to the event. Full details canbe found on the ticketing platform where you purchased your ticket.
I have accessibility needs - can you accommodate me?
Absolutely. We do our best to ensure ellow Art vents are accessible and welcoming for everyone. However, due to certain venue restriction. some areas might be nonaccessible, but we will makesure it's clear. We can also arrange reduced wait times for entry - simpley speak to a staff member on arrival. Quiet rest spaces are alo availble at the venu.
What payment methods do stallholders accept?
Most stallholders accept card payments, though some international vendors may require cash only. We recommend checking with the stallholder beforehand so you're prepared.
Can I enter at a different time to what's on my ticket?
We ask that you arrive at your allowcated time where possible. If you arrive later, you'll be treated as a walk-in and will need to wait until all registered ticket holders for that slot have entered. Wait times will vary, and unfortunately we can't make exceptions as our markets do get busy.
I need help on the day - who do I speak to?
Look out for staff waring a "Need Help" sticker, or head to our Info Desk - we're always happy to assist!
Is food allowed inside the venue?
There's depending on the venue. Please get more udpate from our social media page. If food is allowed, please be mindful and keep the area clean and take away your rubbish.

How much does a stall cost?
Stall fees vary depending on the event size and stall type. Full pricing details are provided during the application process. Fees cover your allocated space, event marketing, and all logistics on the day.
I missed the application window - what should I do?
You can apply as our late applicants...You are welcome to submit an application for a waitlist position. You will hear from us if a position becomes available.
When do applications open and close?

Can I apply as an interstate or international artist?
Absolutely — we love having artists from all over! Our events feature a strong mix of local, interstate, and international stallholders.
How do I apply to be a stall holder?

Are there different types of stalls available?
Yes! Depending on the event, we offer market stallholder spots and gallery exhibition spaces. Each may have different application deadlines, so check the specific event page for details.

We welcome emerging artists, illustrators, crafters, and small business owners whose work is handmade and original. Mellow Art is built around independent, cosy creativity — we don't accept mass-produced or resale goods.

Where and when are you events held?
Most of our events are based in Melbourne, Victoria. Our annual September market is our largest event of the year, with other cosy markets and workshops held throughout the year. Venue details are listed on each event page.

Mellow Art is a Melbourne-based creative platform for independent artists, illustrators, crafters, and art-lovers. Since September 2022, we've been running art markets, gallery exhibits, art jams, and workshops to connect the creative community.
