It's that time of year again — our annual Melbourne market is coming this December. With over 140 artists, we are creating a festival for our makers. To live and be creative is such a wonderful gift — even more wonderful that we all exist and create on this earth at the same time and place!

Event Concept:
Cementing our theme around a carnival-like and vibrant atmosphere, we are looking to create a market space that is festive and celebratory - to reflect on the achievements we have made over the years and how far we have come! Let's party and parade together! We hope this market gets you just as excited as a fireworks show!

“A Tiny Housewarming” - a mini Mellow Market x Gallery event celebrating little things, little friends and little connections. Think a living room filled with art, a kitchen fridge of artist magnets, and shelves of tiny trinkets!

Explore the event across Gallery, Market, and Workshop spaces — and if you’re an artist, don’t forget to check the forms for details + different deadlines for gallery and market apps!

Note: This event is NOT our annual Melbourne market but a mini event consisting of 15-25 stallholders only.

We invite artists to reconsider the significance of everyday artefacts in our rapidly evolving technological era, exploring how overlooked relics from the past serve as tangible markers of nostalgia and can become a vessel for creative expression.

• Intertwining the cyberspace with our physical world, we are looking for a line-up of 25 artists to table at our event.

• The event will consist of a curated gallery by Pancake whilst the market portion will be managed by Mellow Art.

• Cyber Society looks to bring together a community of artists whose work is influenced by technology and the desire for self-expression through wearable art.
